If I pay money, can I just advertise anything I like on this forum?? It is starting to feel like that is the case.

Yeah, I had the same problem with it when I saw it. But paid advertising is what it is.

It costs money to run forums and we are enjoying it for free. I dont mind the advertising at all if thats the only way the forum can survive.

I don't mind the advertising, I understand it has to happen, but, I just felt that the product seems more like a back page of the daily star type advert.

Billy, to be honest, I posted this on the advert that appeared today, then it was moved to a separate thread, probably so the person who paid for advertising didn't get upset that people thought their product sucked!
You use phone boxes????

I used to be a major contributor on the SBF board. They kept taking ads for really dodgy, ripoff products... pure crap that just separated their "carrot" users from their money.
They wouldn't stop. Even when presented with evidence that it was a scam, they would only say that they didn't know enough to make a judgment... in other words, it was all about the money.

I reckon Danny was fixin' too but decided maybe doing it legally would be a better option than us whacking him and locking his account, especially considering he's already had one "PM/email me for more details" post deleted.
