Can someone please do a You Tube sketch on:-
a. A Maid who becomes the/a girlfriend of the Employer or
b. Employer employs his/one of his girlfriend(s) as a Maid
I read in the local paper an hilarious story that the Authorities checked the room where they were staying and observed ladies underwear hanging around and drew certain conclusions ..........
What are the Rules on this?

It's been tried many times over the past 30 years that I'm aware of. But it is extremely hard, if not impossible, today, to get a live in maid if you are a single male.

Expat men and divorced (with kids living with them), disabled & older men still can - I have friends in both categories. They're just not allowed to hire the prettier ones

This is extremely common in Hong Kong. I personally know a few people who have done 'B'. They usually meet these girls in bars, and those bars are where the workers congregate in the evening and their off days (yes, it is common in HK for maids to even have evenings off) mostly likely just for this purpose.

Which is really stupid, if you think about it. So called free capitalist society like Singapore interjects its moral objections into a transaction between male and female that presents benefits to both. Once again, I judge that religious bigotry has managed to intervene.

I doubt it is religiously motivated. Most officials are not Christians - as they are the most likely to object. Buddhists, for example would not have a religiously-motivated objection.
I suspect it is banned to as a way to reduce sex trafficking and to eliminate a "back door" way to obtain another residency permit.

They have enough bad publicity for the whole FDW system. They don't need ever sensitive sexual abuse issues on top of this. How many local and expat males would just hire such women for some extra kitchen activities willing on the maid's side or not?

Just to quote an example, I know a bunch of single male expats sharing a pre-war house in Petain Road and they hired a live-in FDW.

Well, "live-in" would mean that they have her every night (or 24 hours for that matter), right?

Yeah, but in the past couple of years the government is like the weather. Wait half an hour and it will change.
Yes, with all the press inference...
