PEP Question

Post by ts1978 » Tue, 02 Jul 2013 12:37 pm

I've tried search, and didn't find exactly my situation. But anyways - my apologies if this has been asked before:

I'm currently under a PEP, which is expiring in November this year. I will be leaving my company in 2 weeks.

Normally, a PEP allows you to reside in Singapore for periods of up to 6 months between employment.

My next steps will involve applying for either an Entrepass or a regular Employment Pass (depending on which of my options I pursue at the moment)

So my question: do I still enjoy the benefit of the 6 months (5, now) of being able to reside in Singapore until I get one option or the other sorted out, before my PEP expires? Or is it like a passport, where with less than 6 months validity its basically useless? :)

thanks in advance!

You should be able to reside here until your PEP expires or an unemployment period reaches 6 months, whichever comes 1st.
