Careers in Singapore

im a britsh male, i am going to have a BA Sociology degree, and i want to work in either social work, mental health, counselling, research, human resources, administration, management or marketing can i find a job in one of these areas in Singapore, and am i eligible to work in Singapore as im britsh ?

any other information you state about Singapore will be greatly appreciated.

Employment pases are harder to get now. Being British is of no real advantage any more over being American, Australian, French etc, but will still put you in a more favourable class than some of the local neighbouring countries here. You will need some experience and it needs to be experience that sets you apart from the local employees here.

is it harder for a britsh citizen im one of my areas of work to find a job in singapore, or dubai or Hong Kong ?

Just like the UK most companies have to show why they need you. You have no experience, no specialty. They wouldn't get it past the powers that be. Plus local packages here at entry grade would be the kind of money where you still live at home with your mum because that's how it's done here.

But, internationally, IB and iGCSE schools do prefer UK and Australian staff. American teachers go to American schools usually, it's about experience of the educational system. So, by virtue of being British, if you had a PGCE that could open the door to teaching internationally.
