Which means it can only be taken in Kuala Lumpur because that's where Prometric's testing centre for GRE is.

You mean the Graduate Record Examination? I took it several times in Singapore.

The venue is usually Informatics school in Jurong East.

Why is it difficult to register for the test in Singapore?

Thanks. For strange reasons, I clicked and ended up everywhere but this! :-s

By the way, there is/are test centre(s) in Singapore. The one I (finally) saw this time is at International Plaza.

the "prometrics" test centre at international plaza is actually a small room within a room, inside another training centre. i can't remember what it is but they have delicious cakes and cookies and fruits and a nescafe magic drink dispensing machine in the waiting area.

there may be another test centre some where nearby, but i can't remember. the registration is done directly through the official GRE website.

you'll have a locker to use (free, if my wife remembers it correctly) to keep your stuff. good luck. you'll need it!!! : )
