Giordano sell them at a good price - buy cotton and change them every day at least if not twice a day.

I get my socks and shorts at the almost weekly mega-sales at expo on the weekends. Huge selection and on-sale prices. Go early and then have dim-sum after - makes for quite an enjoyable Sunday and I'm a very poor shopper...

Try the ones made of MicroFiber, just perfect from a texture perspective and having sufficient pore space to allow your skin to breathe....
Armani makes them also some brand called Renova (could be wrong).... Check them out at Mustafa or Robinsons.

I was just going to post that I really like the high-tech breathable fabric boxers and boxer-briefs Uniqlo sells. They occasionally have them for a really good price too.
edit: These are the ones, they call them "Airism":

I think SG price is $16.90
