Did their text book said they start WWII is to FREE the South East Asia?
Equally there is little or no mention in UK history books of the huge civilian casualty that occurred when the allies decided to bomb northern France. No mention of the 5000 recorded rapes by American soldiers ether.

What I said is that it's illegal to display the 'Rising sun' flag in Japan. Fact.

Much like it's illegal to display the Nazi flag in Germany. Fact.

There's no need to further complicate it.

Fact: *You* further complicate it by mentioning a bug up my ass when I was not was confrontational or in anyway even disputing what you said. I simply said they were commonly available in the US. I am well aware of laws restricting speech in other countries when it comes to Nazis.

I suggest you get the sand out of your vagina, get over whatever perceived insult you think I undeservedly laid upon you, and at least act like a mature adult in other threads that have nothing to do with your 'observations'.

Have you never been there? It'd akin to the Swastika flag in Germany, the suppressed monomaniacal pride thing: You really do feel they'd still love to wave it... but in global terms it would be 'impolite'. That after all is a reason why Japan changed it's flag after WW2, something few countries do!
/>>> Talk about stickin' your foot innit! You really did it this time. A lot of us have met Brah's Japanese wife. He's spent a hell of a lot more time in Japan than two years. I reckon you done bite off more'n you can chew this time. [-X[/quote]

I was talking about flags. What was it I said that you believe is incorrect?

:???:

p.s. please be more specific.

This rat person is so off-base and off the wall with his posts I suggest no one respond to him ever again.

Not because it was an attack on someone not even on the board, which was pretty stupid on its own merit, but because it was so bizarre and off-topic and doesn't warrant any attention his way.

Freeze this moron out.

You make the accusation, then apparently delete you own posts.

Really guys, if you want to make a fight, the least you can do is say what you're starting a fight about, so we can all enjoy throwing buns around. Can't you (I mean we)?

Otherwise, it's just business as usual I suppose

p.s. If you want to jab a finger at me and make an accusation, please be clear what that accusation is, and/or 'quote me'.... so at least I have some hope of knowing how to reply (i.e. like the process of justice, in most 1st world countries)

Once again I challenge this 'fact' and am giving you the opportunity to provide evidence to your statement?

No drama, I just believe it is incorrect.

Ok, thank you, thank you so much for telling us what your charges are against me.

But before, I go and do some background work and research on this, can I just be clear:
(Perhaps all of this will be complete news to you: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Rising_Sun_Flag)
You think displaying the 'rising sun' Imperial flag in Japan is, or should be legal?

Correct?

Since it's not clear what you think, about what, I apologise for having to check.

Here, Rising Sun Flag is still the official flag of the Japanese Self Defense Force:

The Rising Sun Flag is the military flag of Japan. It was used as the ensign of the Imperial Japanese Navy and the war flag of the Imperial Japanese Army until the end of World War II. It is also presently the ensign of the Japan Maritime Self-Defense Force and the war flag of the Japan Ground Self-Defense Force. It is also waved during the Japanese New Year and in sporting events.

I also have not managed to find anything suggesting it is illegal.
