I'm really hoping that's a typo from someone, is it likely to jump 100 in an hour?

No no it's ok and will you just stop it already.

(It doesn't matter if you're having nosebleeds and can't see 5m, all perfectly normal!)

Yes, NEA website shows 290, while on ChannelNewsAsia it is 190. Some chance it is a typo.

But pollution is much worse than industrialized East of Ukraine where I came from. Also ironically I wanted better air quality.

Hey Sergei>

And during this did you have to stand up and salute the TV while singing patriotic songs?

The NEA is too scared to put the 10pm one up.

Says you you'd probably drop your pants and bend over if offered a visa to Sweden or something (and that lifestyle and air quality).

I have a feeling that JR8 is getting a little bit out of his mind today. Maybe, this smoke has a mild zombification effect on him...

300+ A breath of fresh air for Beijing folks, they hit the 900 mark? or is that another way of measuring, per cubic metre?

Anyway in line with all the end of the world hysteria did you know, Air pollution now kills more people than high cholesterol?

I think Beijing uses a different measure. And I've heard SP's measure understates things a bit. But really one only needs to look outside to know its bad, really bad. What difference is 150 vs 250 vs 350?? Still can't breathe. Time for a short holiday out of here.
