I'm still confused by a lot of this Work From Home stuff, especially for office staff.......surely being in air conditioned comfort in the office is better than staying at home?
Okay, the to and from work is one thing but seriously it's not like everyone has to climb Bkt Timah Hill to get the office. Working in a factory or outdoors is certainly different but for (ONLY as an example) 96. Quiksilver Singapore (Ecommerce Team) to stay home sounds a bit daft knowing that 'Ecommerce' doesn't involve swinging a hammer twenty times a minute 40 floors off the ground.

I can understand schools, I can even understand the airports if visibility drops below certain level and even Mc Donalds (the motorbike crew) but suspending the whole operation of the delivery company where many people use it just for timely deliveries? Do they use cabriolets? On the other hand what should be expected from the working culture where people go for MC for things like sneezing alone.

This must be The Apocalypse that OSOD/PNGMK was hinting at earlier ....
It's a sad day when I have to runaway to Bangkok for cleaner air (tomorrow as all SQ flight to BKK were full today!).
As a smoker, I did not enjoy smoking this week and my bad habit took a 50% dive this week!!!

So much for clearer skies. The persistent Westerly muscled the Southerly back into submission, bringing back the haze.
Bugger.
The good news is that later today the Southerly will have a more concerted whorl at replacing the status quo. By arvo we'll be getting some decent relief from the haze - for a string of days at least.

Anyone notice that their aircons aren't working so well? Could be the timing of our maintenance.

Can't really say. Not using them today, because we're having glorious blue skies here.

I can hear funny sounds coming out from my aircon at home... I think I "overwork" it this week?
A good time for aircon maintenance business is coming.

Hi QRM,
I am thinking about buying IQ air as well for my family. Did you get it here in Singapore?
Thank you.

Not sure I understand what you mean, moderator.
I have no evil plan asking this. Am I not supposed to ask questions like this in this forum? I wanted to PM QRM, but the system told me I have to make some posts (did not say how many) before I can do it, that is why I asked this way. Do tell me if this violate any rules here.

Why would you be claiming you are in Singapore when your ISP is coming from California? You smell like an advertiser who is trying to set himself up as a spammer. You are being watched. Hard.
