What happen if singaporean male married her maid in diff

Post by Tzie » Fri, 14 Jun 2013 11:52 pm

Cowardly and irresponsibly removed by OP, restored by Moderator:

what happen if Singaporean male married her maid in different name?
The Lady go back to Philippines and ask someone or relatives to use other name. Because the law of Singapore don't allow to marry the domestic helper and decided to give falsification document.what is the penalty if the officer found out that the wife used other name?

Worst case; deportation, permanent barring of entry for the maid, possibly a court case for falsification and fraud. For the male perjury, falsification, aiding and abetting a criminal act. Singapore is cracking down on marriages of convenience.

You might be wrong though about not being able to marry a maid. IF the maid returns to the PI and you marry her there the marriage is legal. Getting her a pass of some sort to live in Singapore (LTVP) will have the usual difficulties but if you have an income of >$4000 may be possible.

Doesn't MOM take the maid's biometrics (finger prints) when she is issued her WP? If she shows up with a different name, they'll know as soon as they approve an LTVP (or whatever pass) for her.

Additionally, if they didn't get permission from MOM if she formerly worked here on a WP, then it doesn't matter WHERE they marry, she'll not be allowed to stay in Singapore. I know. I have a nephew and his 5 years old daughter living with me. The mother was banished to the 'peens 4 years ago. Still not able to get her in. All because they didn't get permission to marry from MOM. Vindictive lot they are here.

So what is the steps to report this matter? The couple have 3 children the eldest turning to 15 years old...The Mother of 3 is very proud to herself and kept pretending she went to university but the way she talk and texting can see that she's not even finish the primary.

So you're trying to find a way to stick-it to someone you're envious of?

Wow, classy.

Sounds like our poster is a real piece of work. A real turd, as it were. Get a life dude/dudette. Remember, the world is round, what goes round, comes round. And believe me, payback is a MF!

Hey buddy, your grammar isn't too hot either. I count at least eight grammatical errors your quoted post. You shouldn't talk.

And do you really want to ruin the life of those three children just because you don't like mother?

I'd not worry.... it will eventually catch up with her.

then again, I know a rare exception who got in .. though the case is a bit different, per se. She was an FDW, her husband was on EP, got married when he went to HK, and now he is here, again on EP, and wife on DP !!

What if the "Singaporean Male" as OP is painting, is not a Singaporean after all ?? :D

PS: OP, what if she had more than one name, in reality ? I know some of our PH staff, who have a real name, a pet name for friends-for-life only, and another name for family to call them as .. so ?

In any case, as SMS says, Karma is B**** !!!

Good thinking that PNGMK quoted her first text before she obliterated it.

I hope you get what you deserved for trying to ruin a family.

Yes, it's a good reminder that when newbies turn up and post anything contentious, to quote it in full.

'You reap what you sow' ... I can't think of an adage more true than that...

Actually the first posting, the one removed (and incorrectly reinstated), was fine. Just a request for information.

It's the second posting that caused the problem and showed the real intention.

I guess it's also a further reflection on the OP, she didn't know which post was causing offense.

Why do we think its a 'she'? I naturally made that assumption and I see a number of others have as well.

Actually OSOD didn't quote it. I added it to OSOD's poste when I made my first comment in the thread as I just had a feeling......looks like my gut intuition was spot on.
