PSI 140 at 8pm, and that's a 3 hour average!

I assure viewers that just as many ships are still there, and Batam didn't go anywhere either.

I've been in Shanghai on 400+ days and I'd say it's harder to breath here today. Could be the combination of the heat also, or perhaps just whatever it is they're burning down there.

Should I be worried about my 2 year old? Maybe we should be staying home as much as possible.

We should ask the US Consulate to do it. They do it in China. The difference between the two government's numbers for Beijing is always humorous.

Oh yah.... we can always trust the 'Merican gubment. For-shure.

And what purpose would it serve the US to report conservative weather condition figures?

No cycling for me today, an air conditioned bus seemed like the better option - that's a first.

+1

You can't trust any government or organization fully, but what would their motive be? Or is this just more JR8's American bashing?

Someone left this URL to me. Interesting read but I have not gotten around cross-checking the sources.

This smells of scandal.

They say PSI hit 16 years high at night. But news tell us not to worry about - the hituation in hospitals is normal... In the meantime I'm dying of cough, my gf's family needed to cancel bbq yesterday - mother had headache, niece had terrible cough, gf had red eyes...

That's both uninformed and offensive.

I lived in the US, paid your taxes, I married it, I completely admire it: Enough?

Ok I apologize. I wouldn't wish an American wife on my worst enemy. There's a good chance you're still paying for it.

^^ Ain't it the truf! I made that mistake twice before I learned my lesson and that's even after the first one left me in a bankruptcy court!

No I left it in a [her] 'blaze of fury' in a New Jersey court-house.

Won't be treading that path again...

p.s. You know what they say about marrying 'your own kind' (i.e. hooking up with what you can gauge/understand). Well forget it with Yanks, doesn't work. Look the same, speak almost the same, but the women are psychos.

This is compounded with (the knowledge gained from) working there. The women demand to be men. Machoness > 100, Grace > 0 = Great macho squealing fool in your face = result.

Welcome to America.

I dunno, I find my us female friends to be far less bolshy than my UK ones. Some are on the verge of surrendered.
