Need To Find A Home Repair Company ASAP!

We moved out of our condo before our 1-yr lease expires because we needed to move overseas. We paid for the 12 month lease though but now our landlord is demanding to get this and that fixed. A lot of the defects were already there before. And the others and wear and tear. There were 2 defects that we know was our fault but the rest were just normal wear and tear. Our agent says it's not his responsibility to find a contractor that would offer at a low price now is it his responsibility to help us with the repair. He did find a contractor thought but we thought it was unreasonable high for those rather small repairs. So our option is to find someone who can get it all fixed and see how much they will charge us for it. Please, please recommend good contractors/companies that can give us a reasonable rate.

I can't recommend anyone, but have you tried asking the condo management office, they surely can?

But also...

- Did you have an inventory?
-- Were the pre-existing damages noted on it?

- Are you already abroad?


p.s. If you paid the agent commission when you moved in then I would have thought that they would have to represent you in the matter of your deposit. But this needs clarification...
