Japanese shipwreck. On some days, you can stand on that thing and most of your body will be above water.

Barracuda lake. It's a freshwater lake on a hill on an island. No barracudas. We did run into some scuba divers on our way there.
Ooh nice, and the coral/fish look pretty good considering how shallow you were. I might have to seriously think about this!

LOL it did and boy did it piss down but was great fun, swimming in the huge downpour the sea water was almost too warm.[/quote]

Mmmm lovely.

I'm reminded of the strangeness of being in a group of divers, who descend on a perfect still day... only to ascend an hour later in the middle of a full-on monsoon storm with no dive boat in sight. In an apparently perverse way being on the surface during a storm is quite nice, the rain is refreshing. But you can lose your bearings, which isn't fun.

The max abandonment I've probably experienced is 30 minutes before the boat finally shows up, but it can be a bit of a psychological game (or your brain)!

Siargao is home to one of the sickest waves in the world...it's called Cloud Nine. Not for beginners, but worth watching the pros surf it.

Oh...Ok ENorin, thanks. I'll join any body for some exploration ....any one can text me at nine four four six two nine two six. thanks

Hey Em,

Enjoy your trip. I just got back to Singapore from Malapascua. Diving there is pretty fantastic. My dive instructor is swedish too. :)

I'm new to diving, but got my deep water certification. If you want to go on any weekend dive trips let me know, I hear Malaysia has some of the best dive sites.

Cheers,
Kristel/32/F
