PS: I gave up on SLR gear sometime ago .. after my pricey Canon IS Lense took a dive and hurt my feelings with a 2,000 $ repair cost ..

but there will be the loss of f-stops...and hard to adjust with a hood on.

I'd always thought the whole point of a ferris wheel was for some private time in a dark, small, secluded room with someone else.
