thanks saint, when i use that option the entity I am searching for does not appear, does that mean that they will not be able to give me information on that entity? or will they dig further as long as I am able to give them certain details?

If I understand correctly, all companies must be registered... especially since pte ltd needs paid-up capital. So if it's not in ACRA's list, there may be something fishy going on...

Also check for DBA - Doing Business As. It might be DBA "Frankies" but be a pte ltd named, "Farkle Trading Pte Ltd".

Then there should be an ACRA listing for XXXXX PTE LTD. If you cannot find it, call ACRA and ask for help.
