There simply is no average. If you go with one of the more reputable firms, there will be a standard rate for your qualifications and experience. Others are terribly variable - be guided by each firm. Try approaching the obvious ones first. This will give you an indication. Make sure you stress your tropical experience.

Thanks Katbh,

Sending out is eminent,.....that variable sounds like the discussions I've been having with my hubbie...he is highly skeptical that our years of experience could actually be in demand, due to the treatment we have gotten here. I'll let you know what type of feedback we get.

you have got it spot on. however, weird as it sounds but i guess the grass is always greener on the other side for someone who worked the local architecture scene for like 5 years before landing a brilliant architecture job in london. oh! and he's a local. so i wonder why you are not appreciated in the UK :-k

with the recent tightening of work passes, do update this site once you land yourself a job here. oh ... and since most foreigners will eventually want to stay put in Singapore and with the further tightening of PRs .... good luck!
