* You have to make it NOT look like a marriage of convenience.
* You have to be a married as a Muslim man.

Also your girlfriend must take permission from MoM/ICA for the marriage since work permit holders cannot marry SCs without permission.

1. You should start with asking MOM for permission. Failing this, she may never be able to stay in Singapore.
2. You should have sufficient income (salary more than 2800) to have her stay with you.
3. All other stuff including the religion related are secondary to the above.

Hi x9200,

Yes i still applying with MOM. I like to know once MOM approved.
I need to apply ROM.

Q: Can i apply visa for here to stay with me first? Since she still holding work permit.

2,800 then can apply? My pay only got 2,450. OMG, is that anyway?

Religion: She dont mind to convert to Buddhist.

Q: Where can she Convert to Buddhist.

Since Singapore MUIS cant assist on this becos she not SC.

Is it important for you to have the religious marriage? Why not do ROM only? ROM is a civil registration ceremony so I would not expect they should care about your religion, but I am guessing only.
For the 2k8 IIRC this was the more recent guidelines so if lower you may not be able to get LTVP for her.
At this moment in the eyes of the authorities she is for you just a stranger so you can not apply for her for LTVP regardless your salary.

x9200,

I mean is, after ROM. Then apply LTVP for her. (Or I don't need to do anything she also can stay in Singapore?)

For me is Ok with out the wedding dinner. But for my father side sure want me to have wedding dinner for Chinese.

Me: European Christian - agnostic/atheist
Wife: Singaporean muslim - agnostic/atheist

We got married via Singapore ROM (you choose your venue, at ROM or at another recognised venue: just as an example we ROM'd on the Raffles back-lawn).

She got a letter, a few days after we registered our marriage date (in advance), threatening hellfire and damnation for marrying an infidel, quoting the Koran, and, well, almost ordering her in for a already timed/dated appointment to 'Consider the situation'. I.e. a clearly veiled and quite ominous threat!

Bang, my wife tossed that straight in the bin. Everything went ahead, and we never heard from the bigots and bullies at MUIS again.

No! - No need. Name change is only required for a religious ceremony, as a part of which you are taking on a new religion.

p.s. pro-tip; be careful to not confuse rules between SG, MY, IN etc...

I.e you can be all legal in SG, but still potentially accused of 'Close proximity' in a muslim state, if you have not done the prescribed religious ceremony...

Just because it's legal here does not mean it would be legal in other countries if they do require conversion. That you could get into bother overseas.

Getting married as a Muslim. The love of your life technically cannot convert out of Islam as apostasy is viewed by some as punishable by death.

Looks like you have a lot of research and reading to do.
