How much do I have to pay for my foreign partner?

Post by Challenge2013 » Sat, 11 May 2013 12:45 am

As I have a PR, I’ll setup a company next month with a business partner in Korea. I’m considering to make my friend relocate Singapore and work in Singapore to succeed our business. Now I’m thinking to hire him with EP. When I hire Co-Founder as a foreign director, though I think I have to give P1 visa for him or her, how much do I have to make payment?

At least $8,000 per month and that may go up in the future. This is the minimum salary for a P1.

SE, I think he may mean levy!

All Levy information for employees is here on the MOM webpage

It's variable from industry to industry. If I got it wrong, then take SE's advise, at least 8K a month to get a P1.

In that case, there are no levies for a P1 EP, only a nominal application fee.
