PS Experience - Nose Job

Procedure : Rhinoplasty (Nose Bridge) , Alarplasty (Base of Nose)

Place : Hat Yai (Thailand)

Cost : 10,000 Baht (Rhino), 7,000 Baht (Alar) Approx. SGD700

Plastic Surgeon : Dr Chirayut

Flight/Accommodation Cost : SGD150 (Flight) , SGD40-60/night (depending on hotel)

Recommanded Hotel nearby: Golden Crown Plaza, Wungnoy Hotel

Stay: 3Days/2Nights

This is my second trip to Hat Yai, this time round I'm fixing my nose.

Post-Ops Stage

Post Ops recovering is the most horrible stage of all, with all the swelling. Looking horribly like an avatar, alien or whatever. From the previous experience, which I got so paranoid over everything. I was like emailing the doctor at least twice a week, to check with him is my eyes recovering ok. Looking into the mirror at least 10 times in a day, instead of enjoying the process.

Post-Ops Day 1

Post-Ops (1st to 3rd month)

In the whole of my nose job recovering, it was doing all well. Except you can’t use your finger to dig your nose, and regular clean up by cotton buds is a must. Nose area feeling very stiff, and couldn’t do much expression. The upper gum area, took about one month to healed. During healing, I could not smile naturally nor laugh out loud like normal. Cox it’s so freaking pain, like my alar area gonna tear anytime. Your nose will definitely look much more bigger like Jackie Chan during swelling, do not get paranoid.

I resume back to work ,a week after surgery. Almost all my colleagues couldn’t recognize me, and thought I’m some new staff. Haha… They were all shocked, and complimented it was a good job done by the doctor.

Things turns better after 3 months, swelling had gone down looking more natural.

Post-Ops 10 months

I’m now Post ops 10 months, loving my nose every single day. The nose job changes my life a lot during these 10 months, I had never thought that a nose could enhance my feature so much. I mean really drastic change, with nice tip, high bridge and smaller base. I’m a happy girl now ^^
