Re-apply SG PR

Post by Shir » Wed, 08 May 2013 10:38 pm

Dear All,

i was in SG since Aug 2010 and i had applied SG PR on Oct 2012. Unfortunately, i get a rejection and encouraged me to apply in 01 year's time. i was dissapointed and sad because my colleague who is stay in SG shorter time than me had already get the PR approval. Now, i think of re-applying the PR again, and plan to submit the application on Aug 2013. The following is my details:-
- 26 yrs old Malaysian female
- held a Malaysia Degree in HR
- held the EP from the beginning (Aug 2010 till present)
- work as HR personnel with 25k annually
- joined the current company from Apr 2012 till present
About my 2nd PR application, any recommendations & suggestions about my PR chances. kindly advice.

Best Regards & Thank

Are you on an S pass by chance? If so, I'd be prepared for the worst. However, the fact that you received a letter asking you to reapply after 1 years is not a bad thing, although it was before the 2011 GE, you may still have a chance. The low income is going to be the big negative. Otherwise, degree, M'sian Chinese, 2.5 years here. Female. Might go.

Everything has a positive or negative impact on the application. Unfortunately, nobody knows how much of an impact. The weightage of the point distribution is not revealed by ICA and rightly so, to prevent tailor made applications. Additionally, the weightage is obviously subject to change depending on the government's particular desires at any given time. That's why some month's are looking good and other months look bad. Even trending doesn't work.

If you wait the full year before applying it won't hurt. Applying earlier than that will only show them that you don't seem to know how to follow instructions. This wouldn't be the type of person that they are looking for, I wouldn't think. Let your conscience be your guide.
