Self Employed in Singapore

Post by martincymru » Fri, 03 May 2013 1:02 pm

PEP expires 10 Aug 2013. Ceased working on 10 April 2013
Potential Client says start work on 10 May 2013 but
"not employee status, day rate of xxx say 500$. "

Question:
Possible to become sole trader in Sg if on either EP or PEP?
Who/what/where/how the procedure?

Prefer to keep it simple 'cos may only be sole trader for a few months.

You will need to have a company or business, that is, you will need to form something that is going to hire you. Check the threads in both the Business and Careers forums. It can be done... and... the gahmen is well aware that unemployed PEP's can use this route as a ruse to fake employment.
