HAHA, AMEN to that brother. The 'Samoan Sidestep' gets regularly aired getting off the MRT as the crowd attempt to rush on. Similarly, If I am at the front of the queue waiting to get on, I wait for everyone trying to get off to do so before getting on (or allowing anyone behind me to push in) The Singaporeans are a very polite race on the whole but why can't they learn to queue? So rude, similarly, a pet peeve of mine (having a newborn and being encumbered by a pram often), is the locals who insist on using the MRT lift, even though the escalator is often mere seconds away, thus depriving parents, the disabled or those who MUST use the lift of using it themself.

Luckily, I am not at all shy and don't embarass easily, so will vocally admonish any transgressors.
