Advice/Introduction

Hi guys,

Just came across this forum and been reading away, great community you have going here. The situation I am in is that I am in a position where I want to get myself into Singapore full time working in IT.

I am currently based in the UK but now is the time for me to change. Just looking for some advice/guidance on what would be required for a Network Engineer to get a job over there and if it is possible? Is the IT industry easy to get into over there? I've had a look at the job sites and there are definitely positions out there, just a case of going there and giving it a shot I guess.

I think, network engineer will earn much more in UK. Moreover, demand for those people is much higher in UK.

Why you want to move out?

Completely disillusioned with the UK and fell in love with the place a few years back.

I've been thinking about it for years and have decided the time to do it is now. I'm single with no kids so I am in a position to give it my all without neglecting responsibilities.
