eyelid surgery @ Teuimp / BKK / IOU / JW /Bandoeye?

HI ladies, i have booked my air ticket to seoul. I have made appointment with BKK and teuimp on the 10/July/2013 for consultation and will make my decision there. After reading so many different forum. i think Dr kwon has pretty good feedback. the bad thing is the he quoted (WON )me 2.9mill for partial incision + ptosis. 1.4 mil for laternal (outer), another 1.4 mil for Epi ( inner eye). total SGD6400!!!! i am very stress. Becoz it does not cover medicine money + going hair salon to wash my hair since i cant let water to enter my eyes. As for BKK, i am finding Dr Shin and not Dr Kim. I have a phone consulation with KIM last yr oct when he was suppose to have video consulation in singapore.. nvm long story. in short, Dr kim quoted me 1.5mil USD for partial., 1.5mil USD for ptosis, 1 mil for inner and another 1 mil for outter. total USD4.5 not inclusive of 10% GST. ok . estimate SGD6200. ALSO STRESS.....

Whatever it is , i want to go for once and get it done once at for all.
No room for mistake. No revsion allowed.

Did anyone have their surgery with Dr Kwon and how much is it?

I've been to teuim PS to do non-incision method + magic epi (inner).

I also had no room for revision, because it was my first time there and I do not have the money to re-do again.

Dr Kwon, after the research that I had done (not only online, but also with friends from Korea who do PS), is the best eye surgeon in Korea. But they are a smaller boutique establishment that only do eyes, nose, body contouring but they do not do any facial bone surgeries.

So, I was very convinced he is a specialist in eyes as he only does eyes and another doctor does nose. BUT NOW I AM SO HAPPY! nobody can tell that i did something to my eyes, but they are all saying that they look much brighter and that actually I don't need to wear make-up on my eyes anymore...

YES, THE COST IS HEFTY... I am lucky because I managed to get a little discount through a friend who has working relationship with Teuim. Very little, but better than nothing. I picked Teuim eventually!

Clinic= teuim
Doctor= kwon
Procedures= double eyelid, ptosis correction, epi and lateral.
Price quoted in email= Dl+ ptosis is at 2.5 mil to 3 mil. Epi 1.4. Lateral 1.4
Price paid= 4.4 mil
Tips= there is room for nego; pay cash to avoid tax. bring your own saline + cotton wool
Bad= post surgery day 1, I went back to remove tapes. I cant believe that the nurse use same clinical tongs, what ever u call it , to clean my wound and eye dirt. I even saw previous patient used tapes.. my god...
Post surgery care= Excellent. i have rashed over my body and i have no idea what is the reason and dropped the clinic an email. the care n responded the day itself. so , in short. they care for patients. according to them my rashes are not due to the surgery and the reducing swell injection tat i had.

Anyway, I did posted tat another forum girl going teuim with me. She back out and left my deposit in the clinic. So tat bitch left with zero bargaining power. Tat is why i did not even consult other docs.

BAD= i nv consult other doctors. no my reviews here are highly biased. not neutral. its only benefitting if you are researching more about Dr kwon.

Anyway, this girl back out and went won jin. Done epi too. Result so far is there is scar. I hope it will lighten. Even I am mad at her. In short, dont go for what doc promise what they can do. Listen to what the doc cant do. In short, i am not saying won jin is bad. Is the doc tat is bad. Female doc. Dr jung. Dont go for doc's promise. Dont go for price.

Pre surgery.
Tried to find sinnech in watson, guardian and unity. Result is singapore dont carry this brand. So I went to buy artica montana , the generic name of medicine. At singapore shopping centre. Near dhoby mrt. It call amber pharmacy singapore. My face still swell. Bad swell. So, its either medince is not strong or my swell is super bad. 100pills for 25sgd I think. Taken vitamin c too.

Pre surgery part 2.
I read a lot of different forum. Benefit the most from the forum. Things like where to stay bla bla.. But there are v v little in info on dr kwon. For more info. Go soompi forum.

Pre surgery part 3.
Dont go for price. Go for doc skill. For u to get better bargaining power. The most I can think of is go with more people. And the way to bargain is first do ur research on how much the doc is charging and find out the bottom line. The bargaining here is not like buying clothes in Thailand. Offer 100. U asked for 50. Then finalise at 70. The tell them what is ur price. And if the price is ok to them then that is the price. So I know kwon quoted someone last year july 3.
7mil for dl +ptotsis + epi. So I asked for this price. I also requested in my email before coming here if I were to have lateral at 4.4mil , can it be done. And teuim agreed at 4.4mil. Additional info, someone went for same 4 prodcedures as I do last yr at 5mil. But its revision. Bargaining at teuim. Not all clinics.

Things to share part 1.
Bk website is very comprehensive on the type of procedures.
Oz website has a closer estimate price of sugery cost. Like I said, price in email is higher.

Things to share part 2.
My doc in mine is kwon from teuim. 2nd is iou , dr kang. Till now I cannot find their english website. Hahaha. So I did not email my pic for photo consultation. 3rd dr cho from bandoeye and dr shin from bk. Dr shin is recommended by a guy call kain in this forum.

Things to share part 3.
Hotel highland is at 66000 per night. Decent room. Free water and goodie bag. Goodie bag consists of 3 condoms, cotton wool , cotton bud, bla bla.. there is food delivery service. So ya, had porridge after sugery. At 8000 won. Its near teuim. Step out of teuim. Turn left. Walk about 200m. At the T cross junction. It is at right. Anither 200min.

Things to care part 4.
Bright ur own saline and cotton wool. V v v v v impt.

On my remove stitches day, kwon said tat my swell is bad. He gave me an injection on tat day itself. After the injection , it was slightly better .

In short, I was afraid abt the swell and there is a little peak at my right eye. He assured tat swell and peak will go away. He said wait for 2/3 mths. Its too early to tell.

I am planning to have double eyelid surgery, rhyno, and fat graft with Pitangui. Have you heard about this clinic? My fren got her surgery with them. But I would love to hear other people opinion. I have checked their website, quite impressive *at least they have english website. BUT they dont have many reviews online. So m a bit concerned.
