IPA for re-entry into Singapore

Post by dck » Mon, 22 Apr 2013 12:09 pm

Hi,

I am currently employed in Singapore on Employment Pass (EP). I have resigned from my current job and will be joining a new job from May 20. My last working day at my present employer is May 10. My present employer will cancel my existing EP on May 10. I have got IPA approved for my new employer. Meanwhile I also booked tickets to travel abroad from May 11 to May 15. When I return back to Singapore on May 15, can I enter into Singapore using single-entry visa provided along with my IPA ? Would this single entry visa be valid during re-entry into Singapore since I am already in Singapore when IPA was issued ?

Thanks
dck

First check if your IPA has a single entry visa attached to it. If yes, you can use the single entry Visa to enter Singapore, when you re-enter again.

In that case, when the EP is issued, your new employer will have to pay for the Single Entry Visa that you have used.

Good Luck !

Thanks a lot for the reply...IPA mentions that it has a single entry visa. Hope that should suffice.
