Skateboarding in Singapore

Post by Michael X » Sun, 21 Apr 2013 5:14 pm

Any one familiar with skateboarding in Singapore? Any recommended spots for street skating or cool skateparks?

Also, very curious as to the legality of skating in public places. Any tips are much appreciated.

Thanks!

There's a skate park at East Coast Park just near Bayshore condo. I don't know any others personally, but, I believe there are a few!

east coast park! such a cool skatepark, wish there was a place like that around where i grew up as a kid. singapore has to have some of the best public facilities, like public pools everywhere, skateparks...

I'm keen to find a few new spots! I've been to Somerset a couple of times but that's closed now for the next 2 months. Went to check out Bishan which was pretty decent. Just looking for people to skate with really.
Moved from UK recently. Work long hours and Saturdays but want to make the most of my free time. Really enjoy sports, love trying new stuff.
