Where to buy or diy a wooden cubby house...?

Post by brightonbeach » Sun, 21 Apr 2013 11:05 am

I am interested in either buying, building (or having built) a wooden cubby house for our kids. Nothing fancy, just a basic good old fashioned cubby.

Does anyone have any idea where to obtain such a thing in Sg? Doubtful that I would find somewhere to buy one but I am wondering about finding a local joiner/carpenter who might be able to build us one.

Seems ridiculous to have a kit shipped from overseas but so far that seems to be the only thing i can find:o

Any help or suggestions would be gratefully appreciated.

Cheers

I built my own many years ago, designed it so it could be dismantled and rebuilt in a manner of minutes (most part were hinged). Eventually, a floor was built in the last place we lived and it ended up as a tree house where after a couple of years, due to termites, the outer legs collapsed and it all came tumbling down. But by that time the youngest was too big and had found the digimon anyway.
