Get married (if possible to a SC or at least an FT earning 3k), have a son - reapply.
Now I'm called PNGMK

Your chance is not high. Salary is too low. OSOD's advice will help you if PR is what you want at any costs.

I'd guess >= $3000 but maybe more if you're not a MY Chinese. {edited by moderator}

Dear zzm9980 - if OP's salary is low then why ICA accepts his application to increase their workload for nothing?

- Op is earning $3,700 / month whereas eligibility is a person is eligible having S-Pass (which starts from 2K) does this make sense to you?

OSOD's advice, getting marry to SC - I have seen many persons earning 4K (married to SC) and getting rejections after 12 - 15 months there is long queue of such cases :???:

Any suggestion?

They have these magical boxes called "Computers" which could filter through PR applications from every Indian with a Masters in nano-seconds. Not a single civil servant will have to lift a finger.

ICA keeps the published guidelines intentionally broad to give themselves as much flexibility as required to do pretty much whatever they want. Note that the requirements are to "apply", that doesn't mean they'll be accepted. Maybe one day TRE will be loaded with raving lunatics be-crying a roti prata shortage of their own xenophobic making (and no doubt blame the government for it!). This gives ICA the leverage to quickly repopulate the small token 'halal' corners of the uncles' favorite coffee shops.

It makes sense coz a malaysian chinese may be able to get a PR with a 2500/month paycheck and that kind of stuff is NOT in public domain.
