Hello All, I am planning my look-see for the end of the month and note that one of the days I'll be there is Labor Day. Schools will be closed so I can't do school appts that day, but I'm assuming I'd still be able to look at apartments (in other words, agents will be working, as they do on weekends). Does that sound right to you?

It'll probably be hit or miss, depending on the agents. I'd contact the agent you intend to use and ask them. You will find a lot of people taking the whole week of and probably out of town, including agents.

Good points. I think I will have to make it work, as that week seems to be the only week where my husband can watch the 3 kids (with the help of "1000 babysitters", according to my 6 year old). We aren't looking for an exact place to live, but rather some representative choices in the various areas and assess what our dollar would buy us.
Thanks!
