Urgent: Good Knee Specialist in Singapore!

My grandma (76 yrs old) fell and landed on the knee 2 days ago and rushed down to A&E. Doctor diagnosed as knee soft tissue injury. No x-ray was done and we were assured by the doctor. But swelling still persisted despite of all the medicine given like ponstan and voltaren.

We are worried and currently looking for good knee specialist for her treatment. Pls help! Cheers

after a series of big family discussion, we decided to bring my grandma to gleneagles and taken care by Dr Kevin Yip. xray was done and showed some degenerative changes. she was given some "gel" injection to the knee and she is doing well since then. she can even do her daily activities and go market w/o assistance.

Dr Yip is a nice and very well experienced doctor. he got many staffs to assist him. they are very fast and efficient. but the waiting time is horrible and quite pricey. to my horror, the clinic is always crowded. if anyone needs to see any orthopaedic specialist, i strongly recommend Dr Yip.

I can also recommend Dr. Michael Soon at Mt. Elizabeth Medical Center. He recently did a meniscus repair for my knee, and I couldn't be happier. A really genuine doctor, and kept in frequent touch with me post op.
