Staycation in Singapore

Post by Naomi_E » Tue, 09 Apr 2013 2:11 pm

I'm currently pregnant an no longer able to fly. Does anyone have any good ideas for staycations in Singapore for the up coming May Long weekend?

Rent a Chalet up at Pasir Ris (Costa Sands or similar).

Go and stay in a really expensive hotel / resort on Sentosa?

Go to Bintan on the ferry?
Now I'm called PNGMK

I second the "nice hotel" recommendation. With spa, nice buffet, big shower (for "three"). Treat yourself and hubby well. Take a suite, even. Especially somewhere with interesting places in walking distance. If you go to Sentosa then the Shangri La - not the Hard Rock or the MBS. Nice idea! I hope you have a great time.

Could try the staycation package at Quincy Hotel. They throw in meals and cupcake baking session which is find really interesting! Good for a weekend break:)

i recommend The Sentosa Resort. it's down near tanjong beach, set up on the hill side. Perfect hotel and location for a relaxing staycation in sg.

The Changi Village Hotel offers a pretty good deal too. In the day time, you can take a boat ride over to Pualu Ubin.

You can also look at driving/taxi/busing to Malaysia or ship to Indonesia (Bintan/Batam) there is loads of places you don't NEED to fly to :)
