And where did you check this? Is there a website with a SG-Courts 'bias-ometer' on it or something? Perhaps you could share the link so we too can become better informed?

The laws re: renting in SG, derive from the various Landlord & Tenant Acts of England & Wales. Those Acts seek to set out a just and fair (i.e. 'unbiased') balance of rights and obligations for both landlord and tenant.
