It appears Leader Kim did not get the easter egg he wanted from South Korea, so they have announced that they are on a war footing with South Korea?
Will they be crazy enough to do anything?
Life is short, paddle harder!!

It;s so bad (mocked up videos, photoshopped hovercraft, fake missiles) that it's just a bad comedy now.

You can't even imagine how many times they did this while I was living in Seoul. South Koreans are constantly on alert just in case, but nobody believes anything can happens. North Korea attacks == that will be the end of North Korea right away, and North Koreans understand it clearly. The only question is how much mess they leave behind before they go down.

Haven't they been in a state of 'war' since the 50's? (because there has never been an official declaration of peace)

Like a Reuters friend of mine said, it's not the saber rattling that is the threat... it's what they will do that they are not talking about. These insane SOB's have sunk ships, shelled civilian populated islands... chances are good these idiots will create a skirmish that costs lives somewhere, just to prove that they are "serious".

Boring. Nothing unusual. Tiring to hear all that crap about North Korea preparing for war. Go to Seoul - common people do not even bother to watch news about that.

Yes that's correct.
All a part of controlling a populace by instilling false-fear in them.

Well KJU is certainly NOT dialling down the threats this morning!
I fear the DPRK will soon be known as 'Lake Korea' - i.e just a hole in the ground.
How much chance this idiot sends off a rocket and goes astray and hits MY or Singapore?
Now I'm called PNGMK

I think the only reasons North Korea is allowed to exist:
* China wants a buffer against a US ally (South Korea)
* South Korea (by proxy for the US) doesn't know what to do with the impending flood of refugees.
* Seoul is within range of missiles.
I'm no warhawk but if consequences be damned...I'd like to send a drone to take out Kim Jong-Un.

I guess, if they strike (and they will not), the first target will be Suwon, not Seoul. That is where Samsung's headquarters are located.
