I watched a documentary that was aired in CNA couple of years back, it was a nice series dont know the name but the anchor's name was "flying dutch"

There was an episode in which they discussed about how in that particular year there were more dog licenses issued in Singapore than the number of babies born

So going by demand and supply economics I would imagine dog food being more value for money in Singapore than baby shoes

We buy most stuff for our little infant from mothercare and kiddy palace. Mothercare sometimes has these sales going on and you get good VFM stuff. Typical shoe/sandal prices are $30. That is ok, what! a weekend dinner at pizza hut or fine dining restaurant cost more than that.

Actually, his online name is "The Flying Dutchman". His real name is Mark van Cuylenburg. I've known him probably for 25 years (Due to my wife and her siblings being professional entertainers here for 45 years or so)

God, no. We wouldn't have come here if that was the case. I think legally you can only bring three and one was a Dobie which seems to go down as well as a cup of cold sick.

Do H&M do toddler clothes here? Their stuff is normally decently priced and from what I can remember quite cute.

This will give you an idea how much stuff is at H&M here. My sister, who has been to H&M in Europe commented that H&M prices in Singapore can be higher than the European counterpart.

$18 for a dress, 9 pounds. That's about right. It does wash nicely so you do get the wear.

Actually when I used to watch those episodes, I used to wonder whether he is on this forum :)

In my company whenever I see a white guy I wonder if he is on this forum too, so far I have found only one :)

I cant imagine being an expat and not being on this forum

Even that one most likely pretty soon will not be in your company. :)
