There was an episode in which they discussed about how in that particular year there were more dog licenses issued in Singapore than the number of babies born
So going by demand and supply economics I would imagine dog food being more value for money in Singapore than baby shoes
We buy most stuff for our little infant from mothercare and kiddy palace. Mothercare sometimes has these sales going on and you get good VFM stuff. Typical shoe/sandal prices are $30. That is ok, what! a weekend dinner at pizza hut or fine dining restaurant cost more than that.
