Singtel mobile card -- HTC EVO 4G. Can I use ?

Hi.
I am traveling to Singapore very soon and I will need to make phone calls while I am at there. so I am just wondering that whether I can use HTC EVO 4G CDMA phone to make a local phone call and texting messages. I am considering to go for Singtel. so does Singtel offer any mobile card to go with EVO. How can i use EVO phone to make phone calls and textings in singapore, as I do not want to buy another one, just for the Travel-to- singapore special ?

No, there are no CDMA networks in Singapore. EVO's 4G is Wimax based, which is another dead standard.
