renewal of passport

Hi I need to renew my daughters British passport does anyone know how I go about this or do i have to do it in the uk?

You do it via your nearest embassy.

It used to be the case, but now if you call/vist the local embassy they basically say its nothing to do with them any more.

They will just say fill in the online forms and send it off to HK (DHL has a special deal for British passport renewals)

Ours took about 4 weeks to process.
