I currently hold a PEP in-principle approval letter. I'm planning to pick up my pass soon and have a question about logistics. Perhaps someone who has picked up a pass recently or otherwise knows how things work can answer.
I'm expecting to go in for pass issuance and fingerprinting (same time?) and then return 4 business days later to pick up the pass.
I've noticed that the instructions say to bring your embarcation/disembarcation card from your flight in. Is it possible to travel while waiting for MOM to complete processing, or would one be unable to leave due to MOM holding the card? I'll be waiting around doing nothing; those 4 days would be a great time to go on vacation.

Re: Minor logistics of PEP pass pickup
Once you do your fingerprinting, they will issue you a pass (a single page letter) with a stamp on it, with which you can travel out of SG if needed (before you collect the card). Just make sure you carry that letter when you go out and come into SG.fieldhead wrote:I currently hold a PEP in-principle approval letter. "The notification letter
After successful payment of the fees, please proceed to print the notification letter online. This notification letter will:
State whether the foreigner is required to proceed to the Employment Pass Services Centre (EPSC) for registration of his/her fingerprint and photo-image.
Serve as an evidence that the foreigner can continue to stay in Singapore during the validity period of the notification letter for employment/training with the employer stated on the same letter (if any) pending card collection.
Be retained and produced by the foreigner, together with his/her travel document, at the immigration checkpoint if he/she needs to leave and enter Singapore subsequently before the card is collected."
