Employer will have to apply for a vaild work pass for the LTVP holder(spouse). As part of the submission, the LTVP card will be sent to MOM as part of the documents required for the processing of the said work pass. If the spouse at a later time decides to quit her job, the employer will cancel the work pass. If the LTVP is still valid(i.e not yet expired), it will be returned to the spouse. Otherwise they will have to reapply for the LTVP. I know this cause my wife (on LTVP) recently got a job under work permit and this was what was told to us by the employer and MOM.
