Our helper is going on holiday - does anyone know if it is possible to hire a maid to cover a block period? I have not had much success so far!

like a live-in one? that's gonna be tough as they have WPs tied to their respective employers...

I know - I wondered whether there was an agency that had PR or Singaporean helpers. I am not necessarily interested in a live in but one who can cover after school and early evening.

plenty of "ah yi"s to clean your place on a freelance basis. your mileage may vary.

otherwise you'd have to go the legit way and look for cleaning companies that provide manpower for such services.

i use mrs sparkles - okay, my wife engages them not me. she likes their standards.
