1 yr in SG and still feels lost

Postby cc_pink » Sat, 02 Mar 2013 9:06 pm

Hi, I'm 29/f and relocated here a year ago. I know it's a small country but I feel lost every now and then.

I would love to meet new people and friends. I'm a foodie and enjoy going out, watch movies, do some sport, drink coffee or wine --- whichever comes first doesn't matter.

I work as a consultant that actually helps expats settle into Singapore. Looking forward to hear from you!

Most foreigners should be alright but certain groups are irony-impaired.

Hope you're able to find this forum again ;)

Jokes apart, drop me a PM if you want to meet for a drink. I work and live centrally so easy on timings.

Welcome to Singapore! 26/M here from Singapore, been living overseas most of my life rather than the opposite.. haha. But I have the in-outs of the country that only locals could have, let me know if I can help in any way

Sounds like a little bit of depression brought on by loneliness mixed with homesickness.

hang in there, maybe try to get out of the city centre more often!? visit east coast park, macritchie reservoir, go for a bike ride in punggol, jurong west, day trip to pulau ubin, try to do things and go places most expats typically do not do.. somehow things get easier! :)
