Semi-Permanent Eyebrow / Eyeliner

Post by santorini » Fri, 22 Feb 2013 1:45 am

Hi,

anyone knows a good place to do Semi-Permanent Eyebrow? I am not referring to the tattoo type, which looks like a block of color on eyebrows. I am keen to do the strokes type, which looks more natural alike eyebrow hair.

I saw Browhaus has this technique. However their customer reviews are not very good.

there's a procedure called eyebrow transplant surgery. You may want to check the procedure.

I did mine with Bluunis (there is one outlet in Plaza Singapura and another new one in 313@Somerset - not sure if it has arrived or not).

2 years on and I am still pleased with the results. The colour may look harsh initially but after the final touch-up 3 months later, the colour has faded to a natural brown colour, which I like.

I was supposed to have it redrawn after 1 or 2 years but I have not yet because the colour still looks great on me. Skin condition does play a factor on how long the colour will last.

It is using Brownaissance technique, so essentially it is a eyebrow embroidery using stroke technique. I did mine in Malaysia though so I do not know if the Orchard outlets will be as good. Would be happy to hear if anyone has tried the ones in Orchard because eventually I will need to redraw sooner or later.

Eyebrows semi permanent/stroke technique - recommendations?

Post by 2BornotTB » Wed, 23 Jul 2014 5:38 pm

Has anyone got any new updates/recommendations on where to get eyebrows done - using the Brownaissance technique stroke technique mentioned.
Don't want that awful blocky type.
The related posts I have found are all from last year.

My eyebrows are still doing great. 3 years and counting... But I need to mention that I have fairly good skin so it does help in keeping the brows in good condition for a long period of time.

Bluunis is the one I went to.

The "Strokes type" is actually embroidery. Thats true, it makes the eyebrow look more natural.

Bad reviews? Thats kinda sad.

I got mine done at The prestige Eyebrow and Lash specialist at Pacific Plaza.

Their customer service is really good. Plus no pain or swelling.
