Hi all,
I have accepted a opportunity to work in Singapore commencing in may and the company will be sponsoring my EP but I have 2 drink driving offenses on my record in Australia. They are not criminal convictions just road and traffic offenses and I have served all bans associated with them. Will the drink driving offenses in Australia affect getting a Employment Pass in Singapore?
I wont be driving or even obtaining a license in Singapore as there will be no need for me to do so.
Can anyone provide some information on this for me?
Thanks,

Hi,
Thanks for the reply..
Was worried that it would cause a problem or get rejected, I will tick the box yes on the application form will I have to supply additional information on the offenses?

You do not want to tick the box "yes". No convictions == you are clean.

I understand that but I am sure they would do a back ground check and find these so wouldnt it be best to just tell the truth in the first instance..

Who is hiring you?
You yourself are saying these are not criminal offenses.
Then why the heck you will tick a box saying criminal offense?
