Dear IRE72,
2.5K per month for a 1 bedroom is highway robbery. It is also most likely located in a pricy district, where everything else is expensive.
For the same price, you can rent a 5-room flat in areas like Joo Koon, or Punggol.
Plus, the cost of living and food would be cheaper in those areas.

I pay 2500 and live in a 2 bedroom hdb in the middle of the city, when i got here i initially signed up for a 3 month room rental and then did some recon on my own till I landed up with the place I wanted.
To get there early is on time and showing up on time is late

Actually 2.5K for a 1 bedroom
condo is not crazy nor is it highway robbery, considering the scarcity of them, if it's downtown and has the usual condo facilities. As usual, bioshock only shocks us with the silliness of his posts.

Lol! do you even know where there exist any flats in Joo Koon? There are no flats beyond Pioneer MRT and Joo Koon is an industrial area.
The way you say "5 room flat" I bet you are a local, as foreigners dont use that terminology so often. But being local you are so outdated with everything here

Or 4. Like mine does. Original layout. Not 3.5 but one MBR and 3 normal bedrooms (all the same size).
