Difference between sentbox/ outbox?

Post by azura12 » Sun, 17 Feb 2013 1:38 pm

Hi!

I have a load of PM messages sitting in my 'Outbox' - I'm wondering if this means they didn't actually get sent? I have enough posts to send PM's, as others have worked (and are in my 'Sentbox'), and I sent these PM's in exactly the same way, so wondering what has happened here! Any pointers would be greatly appreciated!

Thanks!

When you type them and hit send, they are placed in your outbox.

When the sent to reader opens the PM, it is automatically moved from the Outbox to the Sent Folder. This lets you know that the reader opened the message.

If the reader doesn't open the message after a couple of months, you might check the last time that they posted. They may well not be active any more, or may have had their accounts locks for spamming the board with stupid one liners.

Ah I see, great, thanks that's helpful. Shame though, means the older ones were never read!

Thanks for the heads up :)
