Applying for the EP will not be an issue as it would just be canceled if/when PR is granted. If she is transferred, she will know, probably beforehand, whether her EP is approved as the company's local HR "should" make the application before your arrival to get the IPA (In Principle Approval). Once she has that in hand, she need not apply for an LTVP. The only reason for applying for an LTVP would be if she is coming here without being transferred. Even then she would have to be here in order to apply for it as it requires a embarkation/disembarkation card number to put on the application. Applications must be made online.

hi all, just like to update the good news that my wife's pr application was approved last week, after about 11 months wait. she was working in hong kong when we first submitted the application in feb 13, but transferred to the sg branch of her company a few months ago. im guessing the transfer here helped!
