Jetstar International VS Scoot ( Salary&Benefit Queries)

Post by nancy130 » Thu, 14 Feb 2013 5:17 pm

Hello guys I am currently working in Air Asia Malaysia as FA for a year..
And would like to join Scoot or JQ in the near future.

Can anyone clear my queries on salary ( before deduction of CPF ) and recruitment process please?

Scoot
Recruitment: every month on the 12/13
Culture: Zappy cultures from SQ? ( I heard quite some )

Salary : ( I heard crew earning approx 1.5 last year as x much flights )
Basic ?
Flight allowance?
Night stop allowance?
Transportation allowances?
Commission?
Working Hours per month?

Jetstar International JQ

Recruitment: Izzit true that joining 3K first is easier to transfer to JQ?
I would rather wait for JQ recruitment soon.
( I heard they have internal recruitment every few months unless need of many crew, they willl have open interview )

Salary :
Basic training 650 started flying 750 after one year 850? ( from one of the forumers )
Flight allowance?
Transportation Allowance?
Commission?
Nightstop Allowance?
Working Hours per month?

I also heard from my friend that tiger airways

Hi, can a AA FA earn RM5000 a month?
And where do you guys stay actually? Is accommodation provided or any allowances for that?
Is the living expenses high in Subang?
Please advice, thanks! :D

AirAsia has closed it's Singapore base a couple of months ago.

Singaporean crew were given option to work in Senai (JHB), but I belive most of them resigned instead.

They're quite good in manipulating news, esp news cover-up!

If you get a chance to join their LCCT team in Sepang, you can earn about RM5k, but they have 6 sectors for Msia-based crew. Your health will surely deteriorate lols

I don't think join 3k will allow you to get.transfer easily. As it is different management. They are using different aircraft I suppose? Also one is base in aus(but there are Singapore base crew diff from 3k) ,one Singapore. Hth. Also Qantas own 49% share in jsa while jq 100%.
