which line?

Post by ronchia » Thu, 14 Feb 2013 3:57 pm

Hi I just moved to Singapore a couple of weeks ago and was thinking of purchasing a Singtel line which was recommended to me by my colleagues.

Wanted to explore my opportunities, I heard that calling overseas using a Singtel line is actually quite expensive. Is Star hub/ M 1 be better? Would appreciate it if someone can help me with this. Thank you!

They all cost roughly the same for overseas calls. Use Skype.

Can't beat Skype for FREE calls. Just get a decent broadband connection - fibre is about $30-40 a month and the speed is quite good. Unless you really need to contact people using their phone numbers, then maybe you should check out the calling cards available. I'm sure it'll be cheaper than using your mobile line to call out directly, no matter which telco (Singtel, Starhub, M1) you sign up with.
