if they sell now (now-now), i doubt they would lose their COV.

COVs thus far this year has been a bit higher than last year's.

so if there is a time to sell, do it before all the completed/near-completed homes start hitting the market.

Naka's point is actually a fair one, and there is some validity to that. Though I kinda answered it in the paragraph above, to add, there is a personal, non-work reason. Plus the locations I wish to move to have not yet offered a compelling to go there, but this is work in progress and could change any day.

Agree - at the moment I have no specific motivation to move somewhere else and as long as I don't have to leave my apartment (working online helps!) I can deal with the cr@p out there. It was just good to be able to put into a concise point most of what annoys me about living in SG (and I'm mature enough to admit it and nowhere I move will ever be perfect - except perhaps SG Expat land)
