Friends to hang out!

Post by Sissy » Tue, 12 Feb 2013 9:15 pm

Hi there,

I am 31 years old and I have been living in Singapore for 6 months now. I am a teacher and I would love to meet new people who are fun to be with and who like to move around (without always being drunk!).

I enjoy Hip Hop, R'n'B and also Latin music. I do like to go out from time to time and when I do, I dance a lot. I am presently doing Zumba which is so much fun! I love animals and I love to laugh.

My boyfriend and I have been looking for friends ever since. So whether you are a couple looking for friends or just a female who is tired of always doing things alone...just hit me up.

I especially am looking for cool and fun people to hang out with even if its only a girl's night out going to da movies or going shopping.

Please, feel free to contact me and maybe I won't have to go shopping alone anymore ;))

Hi Sis
Hope you are enjoying Singapore so far, and things are looking tops?

Your interests sound very similar to mine!
I love to dance but I really don't like the alcohol part. I have been told I can go crazy on the dance floor without the booze :) (well, if the music is right. )

I would love to check out new moves from dancers or even dancers-at-heart. LOL :)

By the way I used to be a private tutor too, for about 8 years before taking a leap to do my own business 2 years ago. I am 29/F, hope this does not "violate" any age limit here. :P

I can't PM here, so drop me an email at alwaysfreewilly@gmail.com

That has got to be the most unappealing email address ever!

I can with do dine with no freewilly thanks.

think of a better nick for messing around in the web. My nick is "alittlerisky", my brothers is "chocolatemorphine".

Its a great film, but a stupid name.
Who? What? How? Why? Where? When? Merde...

I like Ku De Ta better than Zouk. When we went to Zouk one time, there were a lot of young people there (maybe early 20's) and I felt so old. Haha.

I'm agree with you DocKitty, I went Zouk twice in my life. And I also dont like the music they played... I'm prefer some club playing hip hop, RnB and Latin.

hola sissy, where do you do zumba recently?? I'm also a regular zumba crazy! ahah... Maybe we can go together! It will be more fun! ^^

Anyone of you been to Cuba Libre? I wonld like to go at least once... Cuz they are quite famous latin club in singapore.

Hi there,

it's nice to hear dat somebody shares my passion ;)
I haven't been to Zouk yet, but als heard dat there is a rather young audience. So DocKitty I understand you feeling old!

I have been to Cuba Libre and da music is great but it gets very crowded and there is very little space. If you want to sit down ine must probably go there very early.

A much beta place to go dancing, if u like Salsa and Bachata, is Union Square at the Amara. It's in China Town and da crowd is not too young there.

I am currently taking Zumba lessons in Bukit Batok CSC. It's just next to da Bukit Batok Interchange. U can come along and check it out, it's really cool!

You can always pm me and we can arrange something!

So long...have a good week!

New here!

Post by Rox82 » Sun, 31 Mar 2013 12:19 am

Hi Sissy

It's great to see someone with such similar interests looking for new friends here. I am only new to Singapore (December 2012!), and I work here as a Business Manager for a small pharmaceutical company. I am 30, Australian, and I have a partner but he currently lives in OZ.

I haven't attempted to get in touch with anyone via forums, or really in any way until now as I am busy with work and getting to know Singapore a little before I venture out. My sister and her family live here as well so the transition has been good.

I am only new to the forum so I can't PM you, but if you can PM me with your email address I would love to get in touch and maybe we could have a coffee or something!

Cheers :)
