I met a Malaysian who adopted the name Gizzard and she told me she chose it because Gisele Bundchen inspired her.

I have no idea how Gisele --> Gizzard and I couldn't bring myself to show her my dictionary.

You should call yourself "Max Danger." It's awesome.

For this to work, his father must be named Suparman, which I believe was a mere coincidence of resemblance.

Gizzard?

The crop in a birds (example: chicken) neck? Oh yeah, being named after chicken giblets is so classy :???:

I know of Bear Grylls, and I know a Tiger Timbs. It doesn't surprise me that both went to Eton...

p.s. Whilst on the subject, also people with triple-barreled (no less lol) surnames, ex: 'Hanbury-Tennyson-Phipps'; rather over-egging it!

I don't think it's limited to Tamil Christians. You should see the name of famous people who register with their real names on this board but are posting from a known spammer .in site. Several a day and on Friday at 6 pm usually a flurry of them. Keeps the three of us pretty busy and SE busy in the wee hours of the morning.

Advance apologies for disrupting the flow of "funny names" thread, and bringing back to original topic.

Bad comments and stares at interracial couple are just a norm in almost all parts of the world, and I found Singapore as the most welcoming in entire continental asia. My self (dark Indian) and my wife (Filipina) get the stares so much that nowadays we get surprised if others dont react after seeing us. Things are even worst when we are in either India or Philippines. The unfortunate part of the story is that it is the girl who gets targeted every single time, no matter what her race is. And in comparison with rest of asia, now the singaporean stares are making me feel like I am home :-)

And talking about funny names.. at work..we have a 12 member team which include an August, June, April and a May (spelt Mae) :P 8-)
Good judgement comes from experience, and experience comes from bad judgement.
